Due to the rapidly changing situation regarding coronavirus and to best protect the health and safety of all of our staff and students, the College suspended all face-to-face classes on Tuesday 17th March.
In light of ongoing lockdown measures, and the evolving situation of COVID-19, our campus will not be reopening on Monday 20 April and will remain closed until further notice. We will continue to monitor the situation as well as take guidance from the government and will update you as soon as we are able to.
Please remember, our campus may be closed but our dedicated staff are working from home and are here to help you with your studies during this time.
Your health and safety is our highest priority, please read new rules introduced by the Government on staying at home and away from others.
We are working continuously in partnership with the SQA at this time and additional provision has been put into place to enable you to continue to study at home during this time. Your lecturers will stay in contact via email and moodle to advise what elements of your course studies you should be working on from home at this time. Submission dates for outcomes made via Moodle or as directed. Feedback and remediation as normal.
We are currently developing approaches to units where practical work needs to be completed or undertaken which will ensure that every student has equal opportunity and access for completion. We will update you as soon as possible.
We understand that you will be concerned about the impact that this may have on your studies and progression. We'd like to emphasise that this situation is national and reassure you that we are speaking with external agencies to limit the longer-term impact on everybody.
We are aware that this is an anxious time for our students, particularly those already impacted by mental health difficulties.
