“Riverside Music College is one of the foremost and leading recording studios in the country. I’ve had the pleasure of recording in Studio 1 on a number of projects and the studio features the best in analogue and digital world with an Amek Mozart desk and HD digital systems. There is an excellent large live room, drum room and smaller booths and Riverside has tremendous engineers with Duncan Cameron and his team who really have a very relaxed understanding of how to bring the best out of the musicians in the live room.

If you’re interested in courses in HND in Sound Production, HND in Music Performance & Business, Riverside Music College in Busby is the place and I’m delighted to hear that new to Riverside for 2019 is the HND in Traditional Music Performance course to which I’m sure will be extremely popular for new students from the traditional idiom.

For these courses, Riverside Music College has a large lecture theatre, another studio space and control room, an I.T. room with 25 digital work stations and midi keyboards which is ideal for learning about midi, editing and mixing in an excellent relaxed environment.

The college has a host of excellent music tutors as well who supply first class instrumental tuition on a variety of instruments to cater for your every need.”

"The new HND course at Riverside Music College is an exciting development in field of education of Traditional music in Scotland.

Riverside have a long history and commitment to the music industry in Scotland at almost every level. Having worked closely with Duncan Cameron on various recording projects I really appreciate the high level of his work, his attention to detail, the desire to achieve results that are both perfect and beautiful, while always maintaining a relaxed and gentle atmosphere in the work place.

The team at Riverside have a deep understanding of Scottish Traditional music, both in terms of performance but also how to successfully capture and record the music with gorgeous results.

To learn from these people with such a wealth of practical experience surely must be a dream for any young aspiring musicians.

Riverside’s vision is far reaching and broad. The course is comprehensive and while there are clear structures within the course I am certain that individuals will be able to fly and achieve great results as they progress though this HND.

It is an opportunity to work with and learn from some of the very best people in the business. People who care passionately about what they do and what others achieve under their guidance. If you like what you see in this course then grab the opportunity."
