Since enrolling in the HND Electronic Music Production course at Riverside Music College , you have found great success with your club nights and releases. Can you share with us what exciting news you have coming up?
2024 marked the beginning of Get Sassy, my club night and brand, and it’s been going really well so far! It’s definitely not easy being a promoter in today’s climate, but I believe consistency is key. I’m passionate about giving a platform to up-and-coming artists, and in the future, I hope to book some bigger names too.

I’m really excited to be performing at TRNSMT Festival for the fifth time this year- I think that might be a record! This time I’ll be on the Radio 1 Dance Stage, which is a huge moment for me. I’ve also got some exciting festivals lined up, including Off Sonar and Hide & Seek, and I’ve got new music on the way too- stay tuned!
What made you want to study at Riverside Music College?

Back in 2016/17, I decided I wanted to learn how to produce and DJ. At that time, not many people in Glasgow were doing it seriously, so I did some research and came across Riverside Music College. It turned out to be the perfect starting point for me- it gave me the confidence and foundation I needed to start building a career in music.

How has the Sound Production course helped you with your career – which skills, knowledge/classes were the most useful for you?

My favourite part of the course was learning Ableton- that’s where the magic really happens for me. I also found the music business modules super helpful. They gave me a better understanding of how the industry works, which is so important when you’re trying to build a sustainable career. I loved getting hands-on in the studio too, especially recording live sounds. Being introduced to sound desks early on definitely helped me when I started DJing – it meant I already had a grasp of the technical side before even touching decks.

What is your dream venue or event to perform at?

My dream venue has to be the terrace at DC10. There are so many amazing venues across the UK and around the world, and I’ve been lucky enough to play some of the iconic ones already. But DC10 is where I spent countless hours on the dancefloor, completely lost in the music – playing there would be the ultimate full-circle moment for me.

What advice would you give to upcoming graduates for finding success after leaving the course?

My advice would be: put yourself out there! Find your sound, go to the events that play it, meet people, and make a good impression. Don’t rush it – take your time and focus on what you’re putting out into the world, your music first, and your content. If you stay true to yourself and your sound, the right opportunities will find you.
